Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) is the main international gateway to Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica.
Kingston Jamaica Airport Terminal handles both domestic and international services.
Levels
Kingston Airport Terminal consists of a three floor Departures concourse with plenty of amenities and services.
On the other hand, Arrivals area has been also upgraded with a ground transportation hall as well.
It also counts with a common check-in system, including self-check kiosks, immigration facilities and security screening.
There’s also a two level pier with separated areas for both arriving and departing passengers with 13 boarding gates.
present & future
Kingston Airport Terminal is nowadays under a renovation project which has been taking place since 2004 and will conclude in 2023 adding features such as a new canopy, an additional drop-off pavement area for wheelchair passengers, electrical air conditioning, public address, among others.
The project comprises several phases: 1A, 1B and 2.
Even the first two phases have been already completed, the last phase will last until 2022, although the Airport authorities have fixed 2023 as the deadline of the total renovation.
